Editorial Values

Sechel Ventures, owner and operator of NPSchools.com, is celebrating over 10 years in business as a small, independent higher education publisher.

Our three executives—founders Seth Restaino and Barry Franklin and chief content officer Jocelyn Blore—launched this site in 2020, in conjunction with a team of contributors that includes a number of advanced practice registered nurses.

For the NPSchools.com rankings, we have collected data and scored well over 100 schools using our AdvanceU methodology, which factors in each school’s online nurse practitioner program cost, flexibility, and variety. All schools have been ranked in the exact same manner, without regard for who advertises with us and who doesn’t.

For more on our ranking methodology, please check out “What is AdvanceU?” on our main Rankings page.

We provide accurate, engaging, authoritative, and timely features, covering everything that current and aspiring professionals in nursing need to know.

Competitive Pay for Writers

Our tight-knit team has low turnover due to our commitment to rewarding the hard work of research, interviews, and analysis.
